I’m Helena — your guide for the weekend, lifelong reader, and certified life coach and Shadow Work coach.
Here’s my mom and I at the infinity pool at Mount Princeton Hot Springs, where I was married in 2022. I love this place and want to share it with you!

What else is possible in supportive community?
Thanks
I’ve been attending Helena’s bookclub/women’s circle for over 2 years, and it’s made such a difference in my life. Helena creates a soft, curious and safe space for women to explore our innermost selves while hosting a collective reading experience. Each month I feel more connected to myself, other women and to humanity.
Before joining this circle, reading was a solo escape for me. But the moment I stepped into Helena’s space, it became a bridge to community. She has this contagious passion for books a rare gift for bringing women together, turning a room full of strangers into a tight-knit sisterhood where I felt instantly safe, seen and completely valued. Honestly, if you have a chance to experience Helena’s gift at this reading retreat, jump on it!
As a lifelong lover of personal development and books, I have experienced and believe deeply in Helena’s gifts as a leader and facilitator. She creates spaces that are elegant and profound, safe and inviting, where people can go deep, and come out with more fulfilling lives.

GOT SOME
QUESTIONS?
Can I arrive early or stay late?
Yes! You will have a pass to the hot springs for Friday through Sunday, and you can access them between 9am and 9pm.
Do i need to participate in all activites?
No, you are welcome to opt out of any activites, though we do ask that you attend the opening session so we all meet each other. And lunches and dinners will be held together–if you miss the meal time you will be responsible to purchase a meal on your own.
Will there be a carpool?
Your guide will help to introduce all retreat participants beforehand so that you can coordinate shared rides if desired.
If I want a private room and private bathroom is that possible?
Though that is not listed as an option on the website, you can arrange for a private room in another accommodation building. Reach out to Helena directly to discuss that option.
Can I read whatever i want during solo time?
Absolutely!
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing, warm hat, sunhat, sunglasses, swimsuit, towel, flip flops, robe, walking shoes, book(s), journal and pen, favorite snacks, thermos, water bottle. You may also want headphones, ear plugs, yoga mat.
AGREEMENTS
Come as you are. This retreat welcomes women of all ages 18+, all bodies, all backgrounds. We celebrate LGBTQ+ women and welcome the full spectrum of sexual orientation. We are committed to being a space where cultural and racial diversity is genuinely valued, not just tolerated — different backgrounds, traditions, and life experiences make this circle richer, not more complicated.
Confidentiality. What’s shared in our circle stays in our circle. You’re free to talk about your own experience of the weekend with anyone you like — but stories, struggles, and reflections shared by others are not yours to retell. This is what makes it safe to go deep.
Respect. We listen with curiosity. We don’t interrupt, fix, or judge each other’s journeys. Every woman’s path looks different, and that’s the point — we’re here to witness each other, not to compare or correct.
The Law of Two Feet. If at any point you find yourself needing to leave a session you’re free to — to your cabin, to the springs, to a quiet corner with your book. Taking care of your own needs is not rude here; it’s expected. You know what you need better than anyone else does.
